Am I eligible to attend Angeles Institute if I have a conviction on my record?

Eligibility for entrance into our LVN program will depend on the following factors:

How long ago were you convicted?

Was it a misdemeanor or a felony?

What was the charge?

Have you completed your restitution and/or probationary period?

Do you have your letter/certificate of rehabilitation or have completed your rehabilitation?

You may still be able to attend our school, however, the Board of Vocational Nursing & Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) will decide whether you can be licensed. The BVNPT makes those decisions after you have applied for licensure and passed the NCLEX-PN. Please visit the BVNPT for additional information on Convictions and Disciplinary Process
